Celebrating a Milestone: Our Ribbon Cutting
This past week marked a truly special moment for us—our official ribbon cutting. It was more than just a ceremony; it was a meaningful pause to reflect on how far we’ve come and refreshing our reason for starting SensePlay Studio from the beginning.
We are incredibly grateful to have celebrated alongside city officials, community leaders, and families who have supported us from the very beginning. Their presence was a powerful reminder that what we’re building is bigger than just a space—it’s a shared vision for connection, growth, and early childhood enrichment in our community.
With scissors in hand, my family standing by me, I found myself reflecting on why we started. With multiple interview questions and repeatedly refining my answers and reflection, it became clearer and more exciting that SensePlay Studio was founded on two core principles: curiosity and connection. We believe that children learn best when they are free to explore with all their senses, and that meaningful learning happens when caregivers and children engage together. Every class, every setup, and every interaction is rooted in these values.
The ribbon cutting was not just a celebration of opening our doors—it was a reaffirmation of our mission. To create a warm, welcoming environment where little ones can learn through play, and where families can feel seen, supported, and connected.
We are so excited for what’s ahead. To the families who have already joined us—thank you for trusting us and growing with us. And to those who are new or just discovering us—we can’t wait to welcome you in.
This is just the beginning, and we’re so grateful to be growing alongside such a thoughtful, engaged community.
